Additional Design Work History
Orvis Women's: Client since Spring 2016
While Orvis is headquartered in Vermont and I am based in Los Angeles, we collaborated easily using a DropBox folder for visuals and communicating regularly via conference calls.
The seasons would start with a discussion on brand business goals, successes and opportunities. Sometimes I would pitch a concept or they would give me a concept to flesh out and develop. The end product would be an EXPANSIVE digital presentation (a trend book, if you like) consisting of a main color palette and color combinations, print/pattern direction, themes and stories going back to the seasonal concept, product BIG IDEAS, key items, accessories, and styling suggestions.
The Orvis Product Development team would then use this presentation to communicate the seasonal direction with their overseas agents as well as internally with the merchandising and catalog creation teams.
